Each year, the Foster Care Connect Foundation leads a powerful act of community compassion through its Annual Toy and Luggage Drive, uniting individuals, families, and organizations across the DMV area in support of youth in foster care. What began as a grassroots effort has grown into a movement — collecting over $40,000 in in-kind donations of toys, suitcases, and essentials for youth transitioning between homes during the holiday season.

This initiative not only provides tangible comfort to children and young adults navigating instability, but also restores a sense of dignity and belonging. Every donated gift or suitcase symbolizes a message of hope — that they are not forgotten, and that their community stands beside them. Through the generosity of donors, sponsors, and volunteers, Foster Care Connect continues to transform giving into lasting impact, one youth at a time.
