About FCCFI

The Foster Care Connect Foundation is committed to empowering individuals with foster care experience and raising awareness about their unique needs. Our mission is to bridge gaps in support and opportunity by:

  • Providing Comfort and Dignity: Collecting toys and luggage for foster youth transitioning between homes in the DMV area during the holiday season.

  • Investing in Futures: Offering scholarships to foster care alumni pursuing graduate education.

  • Building Community Understanding: Delivering training and consultation for community leaders, universities, and helping professionals to strengthen their capacity to support the foster care community.

Through these initiatives, Foster Care Connect Foundation works to ensure that every individual with foster care experience feels seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
